Our Company Culture is as important as the products and services we provide. In fact, they run hand in hand. When we started Genevate over six years ago, we knew exactly where we wanted to be in 5, 10, 15 years and how we were going to achieve it. It certainly has not been by following everyone else, but by carving out a niche on how our clients, partners and employees want to be treated and how we would like to be treated. And what we wanted to achieve to thrive; not just survive.
We wanted a place to work that was not guided by time clocks but upon risk, vision, and commitment. Not guided by hours, but by accomplishment. Not guided by fashion, but by comfort. Not guided by hipness, but by results-oriented work and solid architecture.
We were one of the first companies to employ Web Standards in all of our offerings and even promote compliancy in our logo. Web Standards and Compliancy are not just good for us and the Internet, it's just good business sense and a civil rights issue. Social responsibility through innovative technology.
If our culture were a TV show, it would be: The A Team or Heroes
If our culture was a movie, it would be: Iron Man or The Incredibles
The proudest thing we have ever done as a team: Drink beers together at the end of the day. Not even the UN or Congress can accomplish that.
You can never go wrong with doing the right thing, time after time, year after year. At Genevate, not only do the owners and the employees embrace it; all of our clients and partners expect and receive it.
